Praise

In Psalm 150, the writer concludes this “Book of Songs” with a concise encouragement to worship and a precise expression of worship. The Psalmist answers all the key questions.

What? “Praise the Lord!”(vs 1)

Where? “Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens!” (vs 2)

Why? “Praise Him for his mighty deeds; praise Him according to His excellent greatness!” (vs 3)

How? “Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise Him with lute and harp! Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with strings and pipe! Praise Him with sounding cymbals; praise Him with loud clashing cymbals!” (vs 4-6)

Who? “Let everything that has breath praise The Lord! Praise The Lord!” (vs 6)

Questions reside in each of us. Questions about purpose. Questions about priorities. Questions about pain. Questions about problems. Questions about peace.

He has the answers to all of our questions. He is the Answer to all of our questions.

It begins with recognizing Him and rejoicing in Him.

Praise The Lord.
