A Blessed Man

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord . . . (Psalms 1:1-2)

The follower of Christ experiences God’s blessing and favor not only because of what he escapes, but because of what he embraces. It’s running from and running to.

We do not embrace the strategies of the sensual.
We do not engage in the shame of the sinful.
We are not entertained by the sarcasm of self promoting.

We are thrilled with Truth.
We rejoice in renewal.
We are marked with maturity.

Our existence has influence everyday and impacts eternity.

With confidence we know Our God charts our course in life.

We have His presence. We have purpose. We have peace.

We are blessed.
