Helping Others Get To Where They Want To Go
“To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.”
—Jude 24–25
Remember when your children (or grandchildren) just started walking? I’m not talking about trying to get up and stand or even pulling themselves up. I’ m talking about “steps”! Some of my great memories include holding my kid’s hands as they took those early steps. Often, they must needed a little help and they had the confidence to “step out”.
Jesus is aware that our faith walk can sometimes use a little help. He offers His hand to remind us of His presence, to reassure us of His protection and to rest in His peace.
When we hold on to Him, we experience:
Stability– He keeps us from falling.
Standing – We have no fault before Him.
Satisfaction – We have immeasurable joy.
Today, hold on to the nail scarred and that will never let you go.
